Accessibility statement

Last reviewed 14 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use syrozen.com and our software, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive or other disabilities. This statement explains how accessible the site is today, what we know still needs work, and how to get help.

The standard we work to

We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites.

syrozen.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Our own checks found no remaining failures on the public pages, but the site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist or tested by screen reader users, so we don't claim full conformance. Our apps (Syrozen CRM, Syrozen Mail and Syrozen Sign) have known limits, listed below.

What works on this website

  • Keyboard: every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus outline. On pages with a menu, a "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach.
  • Screen readers: pages use proper headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and lists. Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the logo has a text name.
  • Seeing the page: text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios (4.5 to 1 for text, 3 to 1 for field borders and focus outlines). Colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Zoom and small screens: you can zoom to 400% or use a phone as narrow as 320 pixels without content being cut off or needing to scroll sideways. Text can be enlarged and spaced out in your browser settings.
  • Motion: animations are short and nothing flashes. If you turn on "reduce motion" in your device settings, the site switches its animations off.
  • No time limits and no pop-ups, auto-playing audio or video, or CAPTCHA puzzles.
  • No overlays: we build accessibility into the page itself rather than adding a third-party "accessibility widget".

Known limits

On this website

  • The code samples in the Engineering section are examples of our work. A screen reader reads them as code, character by character, which can be slow. You can skip them without missing anything about our services.
  • Payments are completed on Paystack's checkout page. Its accessibility is outside our control. If you have trouble paying, email us and we will arrange another way.

In Syrozen CRM, Mail and Sign

The apps are built with standard buttons, labelled fields and menus, and the CRM lets you move tickets with a status menu as well as by dragging. They have not yet had the same full review as the website, and we know about these limits:

  • The visual signature designer in Syrozen Sign (the artwork editor, placing pictures on the preview and dragging blocks into order on a computer) needs a mouse or touch screen. Every signature can still be set up with the ready-made designs and the detail fields, and we will build or change one for you on request.
  • Some updates, such as new messages arriving or a short "saved" note, may appear on screen without being announced to screen readers.
  • Email that customers write and send through Syrozen Mail, and signatures they design, are their own content; we can't guarantee it is accessible.

We are working through these and will update this statement as they are fixed.

Ask for help or report a problem

If anything on syrozen.com or in our apps is hard to use, or you need information in a different format (for example plain text or large print), email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use, if you can.

We aim to reply within 5 working days, and to fix problems on the website or give you what you need another way as soon as we can.

If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the South African Human Rights Commission.

How we checked

On 14 October 2026 we tested every public page of syrozen.com (home, terms, privacy, this statement, the sign-in page and the "page not found" page):

  • automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA checks (axe-core) on desktop and at a 320-pixel phone width,
  • using the whole site with a keyboard only, including the contact form and its error messages,
  • checking colour contrast for every text and control colour, and
  • checking the site with "reduce motion" turned on.

We fixed what we found: stronger borders on form fields, a darker button hover colour and focus outline, and better keyboard control of the code tabs. We review this statement at least once a year and whenever we make a big change to the site.
